01Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how WebDevX and its affiliates ("we", "our", "us") collect, use, share, protect, or otherwise process your personal data through webdevx.in (the "Platform"). You can browse certain sections of the Platform without registering.

We do not offer products or services under this Platform outside India, and your personal data is primarily stored and processed in India. By using the Platform, you agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy, our Terms of Use, and applicable service terms, and to be governed by Indian law, including data protection and privacy laws. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

02What we collect

We collect personal data when you use the Platform, register, or otherwise interact with us — for example, name, date of birth, address, phone number, and email ID, or proof of identity/address you choose to share.

With your consent, we may also collect sensitive data such as payment instrument details or biometric information, where needed to enable specific features. You can always choose not to provide information by opting out of a particular feature.

We may track behaviour and preferences on an aggregated basis, and collect data about your transactions on the Platform and with third-party business partners. Where a third-party partner collects data directly from you, their own privacy policy governs that collection — please review it before sharing information.

03How we use it

We use personal data to deliver the Services you request, fulfil orders, improve your experience, resolve disputes, troubleshoot issues, share offers and updates, detect and prevent fraud, enforce our Terms, and conduct research and analysis. Where we use your data for marketing, we provide an option to opt out. Note that some Services may not function correctly if certain permissions aren't granted.

04How we share it

We may share data within our group entities and affiliates to provide you access to their services (you can opt out of related marketing). We may also disclose data to sellers, business partners, logistics and payment partners, and other service providers where necessary to deliver Services, comply with legal obligations, or investigate fraud.

We may disclose personal data to government or law-enforcement agencies where required by law, or in good-faith belief that disclosure is necessary to respond to legal process, enforce our Terms, or protect the rights, property, or safety of our users or the public.

05Security

We adopt reasonable security practices and procedures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse, including use of a secure server. That said, no transmission over the internet is completely secure, and some risk is inherent. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.

06Retention & deletion

You may delete your account at any time via your profile settings, or by writing to us — this removes access to your account information. We may delay deletion where there are pending grievances, claims, or shipments. We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected, or as required by law, and may retain anonymised data for research purposes.

07Your rights

You can access, correct, and update your personal data directly through the Platform's account features.

08Consent

By using the Platform or providing your information, you consent to the collection, use, storage, and processing of that information as described here. If you share another person's personal data with us, you confirm you're authorised to do so.

You can withdraw consent at any time by writing to our Grievance Officer (details below) with the subject line "Withdrawal of consent for processing personal data." We may verify such requests before acting on them. Withdrawal is not retrospective, and we reserve the right to restrict or deny Services that require the withdrawn data.

09Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes to our practices, and will notify you of significant changes as required by law. Please check back from time to time.
